10 Day Morocco Tour: Casablanca, Fes, Sahara & Marrakech

Your Moroccan adventure begins when we meet you at Casablanca Airport. After a warm welcome, we head into Casablanca to visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, beautifully positioned beside the Atlantic Ocean.

From Casablanca, we continue north toward Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital. Depending on your arrival time, there will be an opportunity to explore some of the city’s highlights before checking into your accommodation.

After breakfast, discover a less-seen side of Morocco in Salé. Meet Professor Mhamed, whose local knowledge and personal stories bring the city’s heritage to life beyond the usual tourist route.

Continue to Meknes and then to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Walk among remarkably preserved mosaics, columns and ancient streets before continuing to Fes.

Spend the day with a local guide inside one of Morocco’s most fascinating cities. Wander through the ancient medina, traditional souks, artisan workshops and historic landmarks.

Discover Al Quaraouiyine, the old tanneries and Bou Inania Madrasa while learning about the living culture and traditions that have shaped Fes for centuries.

Leave Fes and climb into the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane and continuing to the cedar forest near Azrou, where Barbary macaques may be seen among the trees.

The landscape changes dramatically as you travel south toward the Sahara. Late in the afternoon, arrive at the immense golden dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga.

Wake up surrounded by the silence of the Sahara and spend the day discovering the landscapes and communities around Erg Chebbi at a relaxed pace.

Depending on your interests, visit Khamlia for Gnawa music, meet a nomadic family, see seasonal desert lakes and panoramic viewpoints, walk in the dunes or simply relax and watch the changing colors of the desert.

Leave the Sahara and travel west through some of southern Morocco’s most dramatic landscapes. Walk through Todra Gorges, where limestone cliffs rise above the river valley.

Continue through the Valley of Roses before reaching Skoura Oasis, a peaceful world of palm groves, earthen kasbahs and traditional agricultural life.

Travel via Ouarzazate to spectacular Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified village known for its earthen architecture and cinematic landscapes.

Continue through the beautiful Ounila Valley along an old caravan route toward Telouat and the historic Glaoui Kasbah. Cross the High Atlas Mountains before descending into Marrakech.

Explore the Red City with a local guide, from the winding streets of the medina to colorful souks, historic monuments and Jemaa el-Fnaa.

Your guide introduces Marrakech’s architectural and cultural heritage while leaving time to experience the city at your own rhythm.

Join a Moroccan cooking class and learn how local ingredients, spices and time-honored techniques come together. Depending on the experience, visit a local market and prepare dishes such as tagine, salads or traditional bread.

After breakfast, begin the final drive to Casablanca. Arrive according to your departure plans for transfer to Casablanca Airport or your preferred accommodation.
