Moroccans are predominantly Muslim, and Morocco is known as one of the most liberal Islamic countries. While non-Muslim tourists may encounter restrictions, such as being banned from entry into mosques except the largest one in Casablanca, overall, the country is welcoming to visitors of all backgrounds.
